Outfit Of The Day: Nygård Slims

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to a pair of pants that were a game changer for all women (see here). And what is this game changer called? Nygärd Slims.

A pant line that not only flattens your tummy and slims down your hips and thighs but most importantly sculpts your bum 🙂

Slims are like a hybrid of Spanxs, only a million times more comfortable, breathable and stylish. Oh and did I mention they have a better price point!!

I’m wearing the 2.5 Chex Jeggings. I love the quilted faux leather detail on the front and the ponte knit on the back which makes these jeggings very comfortable. So comfortable that I decided to style them twice 😍

All Black Everything

Happy Friday guys! It’s the first day of spring and I’m wearing black 🙂 What can I say, old habits die hard. We’ve been blessed with warmer weather for the last couple of weeks and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be honest, it feels so good to shed my winter jacket and pull out this moto jacket. This is one of my favourite coats, the mix of textures makes it fun to wear. Plus it pretty much goes with just about anything in my closet 🙂

Outfit Of The Day: Jogger Pants

I don’t know about you but I’m tired of winter and although it’s only slightly warmer over here, I’m shedding the layers… This past fall I picked up my first pair of jogger pants ( sporty pants ) and since then my love affair with them has continued to grow. What I love about them is that they are as comfortable as sweatpants but still office appropriate or even fine for a night out. Plus jogger pants are super easy to wear, you can pair them with just about anything in your closet… Button down’s, sweaters, t-shirts, high heels, flats or slip on sneakers, it all works. The perfect pair should be fitted at the waist (not too tight) and ankle but with room throughout the leg.

#Pink Shirt Day

Psst! Guess what?!? I’m wearing pink! I normally don’t wear a lot of pink but I’ll be wearing it with pride this week because Pink Shirt Day is February 25th.

As we all know, bullying is still a major problem in our schools, workplaces and all over the internet. Pink Shirt day was originally started by two Nova Scotia students, Dave Shepherd and Travis Price, who wanted to show support for another student who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. They bought 50 pink t-shirts and encouraged their fellow students to wear them as a sign of solidarity. And now that day is recognized and supported all across the country.

I urge everyone on February 25th to stand up and say ENOUGH to bullying!

You too can buy an official Pink Shirt Day t-shirt online (here) or at any London Drugs store. Net proceeds from Pink Shirt Day go to the CKNW Orphan’s Fund in support of Boys and Girls Clubs anti-bullying programs.
