I Heart Shoes Auction 2015

My dear shoe lovers, it’s that time of year again! The Third Annual I Heart Shoes Auction is taking place exactly one week from today. And this year it’s going to be bigger and better!

I Heart Shoes Auction is a fundraiser for The Heart And Stroke Foundation’s The Heart Truth Campaign – focused on women and heart disease. Right now, 9 in 10 women have at least one risk factor for heart disease or stroke. Pretty scary, right? Heart disease and stroke is a leading killer of women in Canada. However, through lifestyle changes, women can reduce their risk by as much as 80 per cent.

The I Heart Shoes Auction which takes place May 4th, 2015 at The RBC Convention Centre will feature a rainbow auction of over 300 hundred pairs of the latest in women’s footwear and accessories. Plus a higher priced rainbow auction with designer shoes such as Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, DVF, Manitoba Mukluks and Sergio Rossi just to name a few!

So my lovelies, if you live in Winnipeg, I urge you to get your best girlfriends together and let’s help raise awareness for women’s heart disease. Trust me, your heart and feet will thank you 😉 👠👠👠

Outfit Of The Day: Nygård Slims

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to a pair of pants that were a game changer for all women (see here). And what is this game changer called? Nygärd Slims.

A pant line that not only flattens your tummy and slims down your hips and thighs but most importantly sculpts your bum 🙂

Slims are like a hybrid of Spanxs, only a million times more comfortable, breathable and stylish. Oh and did I mention they have a better price point!!

I’m wearing the 2.5 Chex Jeggings. I love the quilted faux leather detail on the front and the ponte knit on the back which makes these jeggings very comfortable. So comfortable that I decided to style them twice 😍

All Black Everything

Happy Friday guys! It’s the first day of spring and I’m wearing black 🙂 What can I say, old habits die hard. We’ve been blessed with warmer weather for the last couple of weeks and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be honest, it feels so good to shed my winter jacket and pull out this moto jacket. This is one of my favourite coats, the mix of textures makes it fun to wear. Plus it pretty much goes with just about anything in my closet 🙂

Outfit Of The Day: Jogger Pants

I don’t know about you but I’m tired of winter and although it’s only slightly warmer over here, I’m shedding the layers… This past fall I picked up my first pair of jogger pants ( sporty pants ) and since then my love affair with them has continued to grow. What I love about them is that they are as comfortable as sweatpants but still office appropriate or even fine for a night out. Plus jogger pants are super easy to wear, you can pair them with just about anything in your closet… Button down’s, sweaters, t-shirts, high heels, flats or slip on sneakers, it all works. The perfect pair should be fitted at the waist (not too tight) and ankle but with room throughout the leg.
